BHARATA RATNA:
Bharat Ratna is India’s highest civilian honour. . This award is given for exceptional work for the advancement of Art, Literature and Sceince and recognition of public service of the highest order. It is generally conferred on Jan 26. The replica of the sun with radiating rays can be seen on the observe of the medallion with the words the motto ‘Satyameva Jayate’. The awrd can also be granted posthumously.The awards are produced at the Kolkata Mint.
