The Booker Prize


THE BOOKER PRIZE  : 
                             The  Booker prize is one of the most prestigious awards
world of literature. The award was setup in 1968 when publisher Tom Maschler, inspired by the French literary award Prix Goncourt,approached the booker brothers  and persuaded  them to establish a literary prize.
                              The award is sponsored bu Man group plc; hence it is called 'Man Booker Prize for Fiction'. The winner of the booker prize receives  £ 50,000.
